"You Are Here: Always, Today, The Day After Tomorrow"
Spanning three immersive zones — Reimagined Past, Present-Day Insights, and Future Visions — this exhibition charts how passengers and their evolving needs have reshaped Moscow’s transport ecosystem. Visitors traverse labyrinthine spaces blending visionary "paper architecture," multimedia journeys into tomorrow’s cityscapes, and a life-size prototype of an autonomous vehicle developed with Avito Auto.
ALWAYS:
Transport infrastructure has perpetually mirrored societal shifts that redefine urban life. These transformations seep into the mundane, becoming invisible threads in the fabric of daily existence.

NOW:
Moscow’s residents navigate an era of tectonic urban change. Recent years have rewritten the rules of human-city interaction, driven by groundbreaking mobility innovations.

BEYOND:
Emerging technologies are rewriting our urban DNA today — and will continue to do so. The innovations we glimpse now will, by THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW, feel as natural as breathing.
TOTAL INSTALLATION
On Moscow City Day (September 10, 2022), a monumental video installation premiered in the pavilion’s historic portico — a cinematic overture to the exhibition. A 26-meter screen cascades with endless horizon-chasing imagery, embodying the city’s ceaseless pulse.

The screen intersects with a kinetic wheel sculpture — a dual symbol of transport’s primal origin (the wheel’s invention) and Moscow’s iconic orbital transit network.
REIMAGINED PAST
NER (New Element of Settlement)
This radical 1968 urban concept, showcased at the Milan Triennale, redefined linear city planning. Its spine — a transcontinental transport corridor — aimed to make mobility an unforgettable civic experience.

SIBSTREAM
A 2003 linear city proposal for Tokyo’s City 2010 competition, where transport arteries doubled as societal lifelines.

PAPER ARCHITECTURE
A treasury of unbuilt Soviet-era visions where transport wasn’t merely functional, but poetic — from floating metro stations to helical highways.
PRESENT-DAY INSIGHTS
INSTALLATION: “YOU ARE HERE”
A data-driven odyssey through Moscow’s rail revolution (2010–2022). A dynamic map pulses with the growth of the Metro, Moscow Central Circle (MCC), Central Diameters (MCD), and the Big Circle Line (BCL), visualizing how 12 million daily riders reshape the city.

Key focus: The merger of Moscow and its suburbs into a seamless mobility network.

TIMELINE OF TRANSFORMATION
Nine micro-exhibits dissect the tech behind pivotal changes:
• Smart traffic algorithms
• Contactless payment ecosystems
• AI-driven metro crowd management
FUTURE VISIONS
Step into 2040’s Moscow through hybrid reality — where monochrome prototypes collide with sensory simulations of undiscovered sensations.

INSTALLATION: “AUTO-NOMOUS”
Co-created with Avito Auto, this driverless concept car redefines mobility:
• Retro-Futurist Design: Sleek curves nodding to 1980s concept cars
• Adaptive Interior: A lounge-on-wheels for work, dining, or VR commuting
• Circular Economy: Modular parts replaceable via Avito’s second-life marketplace
• Zero-Collision Promise: AI guardians reducing accidents to statistical noise
